Analysis of CNC machining errors
CNC machining is active in various fields, whether you are in the aerospace, medical, automotive, intelligent equipment, or daily necessities industries, all of which require the participation of CNC machining. However, CNC machining uses heavy equipment, and a slight carelessness may cause serious consequences. So, what are the reasons for mechanical machining errors?
CNC, also known as computer gongs, CNC or CNC machine tools, is actually a term used in Hong Kong. Later introduced to the Pearl River Delta in mainland China, it is actually a CNC milling machine. In Guangzhou, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, it is a new type of machining technology with people calling it “CNC machining centers”. Its main job is to develop machining programs, that is, to convert manual work into computer programming. Of course, experience in manual processing is required
1. Human factors
1) Lack of concentration: When the operator’s attention is not focused, it may cause unnecessary errors, and in severe cases, it can damage the machine tool and even endanger life safety.
2) Understanding error: The operator’s understanding of the machining drawings is not thorough, which can easily lead to machining errors.
3) Novice error: Novice operators are prone to mechanical processing errors due to lack of experience.
4) Unexpected error: Mechanical processing errors caused by certain abnormal situations, such as failure of processing equipment accessories, detachment of fixtures during processing, etc.
5) Intentional error: Human intentional error caused by operators due to certain personal reasons, which has a very adverse impact.
2. Programming error
During CNC machining, due to human or machine reasons, it is easy to cause the tool or tool holder to collide with the workpiece or machine tool. In mild cases, it can damage the tool and the processed parts, in severe cases, it can damage the machine tool components, cause a loss of machining accuracy, and even cause personal safety accidents. Therefore, familiarizing oneself with the causes of CNC machining errors before conducting CNC machining can help reduce the occurrence of errors, reduce CNC machining accidents, and improve the safety rate of CNC machining.
The above is the opinion of Dongguan Moshijia on the analysis of the causes of CNC machining errors.
